Fast Track Service
If you do not like queueing, Barcelona airport has a Fast Track service available. This service, which is sometimes called Fast Lane, allows passengers to pass through security checkpoints quicker by avoiding the queues, and in turn, speeds up procedures before boarding. This is a great service if you have children or if you know you will be late.
This service does not speed up the actual security checks, it just speeds up the entry to the security checks. Security officials will still treat you the same and you will have to empty your pocket, remove your laptop or tablet from your hand luggage, take off your shoes etc
.There is a Fast Lane in both terminals. In terminal 1 it is available to all passengers and located on the 3rd floor, next to the main security checkpoint in the departures hall. In terminal 2, this is only available to passenger checking-in in area B. This is located on the 1st floor and integrated within the main security checkpoint. In both terminal, just follow the signs for Fast Lane to find the entry point.
The Fast Track service is only available to passengers departing the airport. There is no Fast Track through Immigration and Passport Control for passengers who are arriving.
